All maps are compatible with the Windows 95 version of Marathon 2 unless otherwise indicated. All maps work with Mac versions of Marathon. You can also play them with Aleph One, the free port of the Marathon engine to many platforms. You may also need to run the file through the Macintosh file typing tools to get some maps to work on Aleph One on a Mac.
There are two collections that we have packaged that have big chunks of our best maps in them.

Razor Blades
by Dalan GalmaI beat Burke to making this level. I just thought: "Wouldn't it be cool to see 4 or five people whacked off into space by a SPNKR?" That's about it. This level is death to those who use Caps Lock as a run key because of water. It's a nice level, though. It's so much fun to see someone fire off two SPNKRs and get propelled off the platform by recoil. [Download]

Lay my Soul
by Burke AAreanIt's as done as it's gonna be... but you can still have fun with this permanently unfinished beta. It's a very right angles level, a sorta tribute to the early old Marathon 1 single player levels. Fun in groups. [Download]

Bell That Rings
by Burke AAreanI'm proud of this lil' smattering of chaos. I started by making a little design on a marble floor, then it exploded into a 2 level house with windows you jump out of and TONS of P'fhor forces waiting to make your day. Single player favorite! Good with any number of network players, if your network is good enough to support it, that is. Only problem: you usually don't kill your friend because you're busy wasting a legion of P'fhor [Download]

Waitin' For my Thumbs
by Burke AAreanDo you love the feeling of firing a SPNKR and waiting for that little delay between "FOOOOSSH" and "ARGHH!"? I made this level for myself as a training tool for the SPNKR and 75B as sniper tools. Originally titled "Death from Above" I changed the the title to an homage for the song that inspired it. If you really wanna know, it's the untitled track 18 on They Might Be Giants' "Severe Tire Damage". A primo disc. A must buy. Anywho... Enjoy this level. And in a few weeks you can impress your friends with on-the-dot rocket explosions that will send them into a fog of awe and newly vaporized body tissue. Happy Killing! [Download]

Graveyard Machine
by Burke AAreanI think this level is pretty mediocre. Try it and see if you like it. It can't hurt. Really, it's best as a solo map. [Download]

Just Drink The Kool-Aid (Nice knowing ya)
by Burke AAreanLucky you! This isn't the original version. The first one was swamped with enemies, including, get this, invisible major compilers(Sph't). Ugh. This version is much better, but it still bleeds "amateur" which I am. It's fun though. Worth a try. Good for 4+ player on King of the Hill. Not played much 'round here because of our small network. Still, it's worth the download. [Download]

Feeling Like A3 T4
by Burke AAreanOK, my brainstorm was a 2x tower board. And it WORKS. Best with 3+ players, work with 2 tho. WAY too many baddies. I'll have to redo this sometime. If ANYONE can tell me what the title means, you get a free T-Shirt. Clue: Misc. T. came after.... Have fun. [Download]

Sorry, Try Again
by Burke AAreanPicture this: Net game tomorrow, all the pressure on you. 5 minutes, then you have to stop. What do you do? What do you do? I used TMBG's "Lincoln" for inspiration and "constrain to grid". It worked out surprisingly well. Note: There's a great Infin version available. Mail me. [Download]

Lampshade
by Dalan GalmaThis map is supposed to be set in an underground mining complex. Simple but fun. [Download]

This Level is Called "Creepy"
by Burke AAreanTwo pieces of advice for this psychedelic level.
Please turn the brightness up on your monitor
Keep the difficult to normal or less.
Very fun level. Great as single. You're going to want more than 2 for network... [Download]

.....Hello.....Radio
by Burke AAreanThis was done during a short and dangerous time between my "curves = good" phase and my "Hey, how about a teleporter that teleports randomly? Wouldn't that be cool?" phase. The result is this little board with troopers and an inconvenient MOH. Very fun 2 players. Hello Radio wasn't the original title but the old one was way too obscure. [Download]

Mellowed 5 & Dimes of a Dead World
by Burke AAreanOne of my very favorite levels. DOWNLOAD THIS ONE, IF NO OTHER. I just have a great love for this level. It has such a great ambiance. If you do get this level you have to put on Beck's Oldelay Track 13 (Ramshackle). It ain't fighting music but it fits level like a glove.( Yes I made this level while listening to it). By the way.... This level has caused ripples throughout 10/5's maps. Ahem, Dalan? That crack from "Lampshade"? Cough! cough! [Download]

Why Does The Sun Shine?
by Burke AAreanMade in 2 repeats of "Why does the Sun Shine (The Sun is a Mass of Incandescent Gas){rock version}" from TMBG's Severe Tire Damage. I think it holds itself well. Better keep moving in this one. [Download]
-
Final Reckoning At the World's Last Diner
by Burke AAreanOne of my 'classics'. I think it's one of funnest levels made for carnage. Best played in a network with close computers, so you can talk to each other as you battle your friends and a irritable Juggernaut. I love this board please try it! Ahem. I had to say it. [Download]
-
Tower of Babel
by Dalan Galma and Burke AAreanThis was my first map. It's OK. This map is best as a King of the Hill with a lot of people. (Remixed with the hurried help of Burke) [Download]

That's Pep!
by Burke AAreanFirst part of a two part DEVO spree by me. Perhaps the level is best described by lyrics " Pick-up, vin, vitality and punch, the ability to act on a certain hunch, nerve to tackle the hardest thing, feet to climb and hands to cling, a heart that never forgets to sing... That's pep! " Well, maybe not. This is a small fun board with lotsa ammo and a little self-promotion. [Download]
-
Mr. B's Ballroom
by Burke AAreanPart to of my DEVO spree. A little more abstract. Very fun though. You can really screw your opponent over. The lyrics that influences this one? Don't ask why, but here they are: " Freeze! Come on outta there! Freeze! you ain't goin' nowhere! Freeze! Put your hands on your head! Freeze! It's Mr. B's Ballroom. " There you go. For some reason Jon H. REALLY likes this level. [Download]

Fightin' With Knives and Forks
by Burke AAreanDavid Byrne's song: "Burnt by the Sun" inspired the one on one grudge match. You ever argue who's a better player? This is it. Please play it on "Kill limit: 1." It's made to be a last-man-standing duel. This level is a lot of fun. [Download]
-
Finite=Alright(D)
by Burke AAreanAnother duel level. Lotsa pistols, lotso ammo, little light. Have fun. Loses it's shine after a couple of plays. [Download]
-
BRIDGEOUTFALLDOWNWISEUPBLOW
by Burke AAreanGreat all-around level. But please find our little secret room. [Download]

Nitroglycerin (Shaken, Not Stirred)
by Dalan GalmaThis map started out as a 2-team Capture the Flag, and it was chock-full of 'bots. I took out the 'bots and made it into an Every Man For Himself Map, and it turned out much better. Hope you like it. [Download]
-
Claustrophobia
by Dalan GalmaThis is just something I made while playing with the circle tool in OBED. Surprisingly, it turned out to be a very fun level. I wouldn't recommend it for more than two players, but I haven't tried it with more, so you're free to go ahead and try it. [Download]

Buck Chuck
by Dalan GalmaI needed a map one day for a party. I drew up this. [Download]
